Meet the caring team at Bullslands baby & toddler childcare
Welcome to our close-knit family setting. We are a devoted team—mother, daughter, and close lifelong friend—working seamlessly together to provide a warm, nurturing "home from home" experience for your little ones. With enhanced DBS checks, paediatric first aid certification, and regular safeguarding and health and safety updates, your child's safety, happiness, and early development are always at the heart of what we do.

With over 30 years of dedicated experience working with children, Maxine brings a wealth of professional expertise and maternal warmth to Bullslands baby & toddler childcare. As a qualified nursery nurse, former child protection social worker, registered childminder, and mother herself, she understands every facet of child welfare and development. Maxine participates in every part of the daily routine—cooking nutritious meals, guiding learning through play, changing nappies, and offering detailed, reassuring feedback to parents every step of the way.
Maxine: Founder, nursery nurse, and qualified childminder

Caroline: Experienced private nanny and qualified childminder
Caroline has worked for more than 15 years as an exceptional private nanny and qualified childminder. She has extensive medical training & experience having cared for children needing extra support. As a mother herself, Caroline understands the gentle patience and attention required to help children settle in seamlessly and thrive. Caroline shares all daily responsibilities—preparing meals, soothing and caring for little ones, and nurturing curious minds through fun, structured activities that promote early confidence.

Rosie: Early years practitioner and qualified childminder
Maxine's daughter Rosie completed her level 2 apprenticeship as an early years practitioner and is registering to become a fully qualified childminder. Rosie brings vibrant enthusiasm, modern early years learning practices, and a deep, intuitive family bond to our setting. Like every member of our team, Rosie takes a complete hands-on role in daily care: preparing wholesome food, feeding, teaching, playing, and sharing regular updates with parents to celebrate each child's individual milestones.
"Maxine, Caroline, and Rosie provide such a loving, secure home from home. Knowing they are fully trained in paediatric first aid and safeguarding gives us total peace of mind every single day."
A grateful Chorleywood childcare parent
